The children’s table obviously needs to be the right height, so that it is easier for children to immerse themselves in play or drawing. The children’s table is a stylised version of Børge Mogensen’s original dining tables. The Børge Mogensen bench is something of an institution, so it was obviously part of the range when the children’s furniture was launched for the first time in the late 1940s.
