The Antishock variant is equipped with the DSS damping system, which ensures a reduction in impact to relieve stress on the muscles, joints, and ligaments. The newly developed Aergon Air has been improved in countless ways and has been redesigned in terms of comfort and control. Special hollow core technology combines lightweight construction and large, supportive surfaces that meet all the ergonomic requirements of your hand. The back of the Aergon Air grip is fully rubberized for maximum grip and control when going downhill. The inclined angle supports your wrist for optimal guidance and placement of the pole and contributes to safety on the mountain. The Makalu FX Carbon AS provides controlled pole use on the mountain.

Dynamic Suspension System
The Dynamic Suspension System is a vibration-absorbing construction made of elastomer material. According to a study by the University of Tübingen, it reduces the impact force by approx. 40%, thereby relieving the musculature, joints, and tendons.
Grip (Aergon Air)
The Aergon Air combined lightness with stability. Its ergonomic shape provides maximum comfort, while the full rubber grip head provides absolute control.
Lock Security Strap Skin 4.0
Adjustable strap with safety release. It is ultra-light, highly breathable, and offers ideal comfort.
Grip extension
Grip extension for simple grip adjustment on steep terrain or when traversing.

External Locking Device
