The rubber rand keeps the bottom seams sealed and adds torsional rigidity between the sole and the upper. Details: Full grain leather stamped upper, 2.4 mm thickness, Thinsulate with membrane (not seams sealed) leather gusset, nylon collar, nylon insole with half shank, rubber rand all around, Vibram 75 mm New Outback sole.
The boots are sized in US sizing and run true to size.Note: Women’s boots are lasted slightly narrower in the heel than men’s sizes. Men’s version is also available.
