The alder body delivers a balanced tonal response, providing rich midrange warmth with crisp articulation. The maple neck, finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, features a comfortable 1965 “C” profile, staying true to the original mid-'60s design. A round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius and 21 vintage-tall frets ensures an authentic playing experience. Larger pearloid dot inlays, an 11-hole three-ply pickguard, and the classic transition logo complete the vintage aesthetic. Pure Vintage single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners provide period-correct tuning stability, while the bone nut enhances sustain and resonance.
The electronics feature a trio of Pure Vintage ‘65 gray-bottom single-coil Stratocaster pickups, meticulously voiced to reproduce the chime, warmth, and dynamic response that defined the Stratocaster sound in the mid-'60s. A five-way pickup selector switch allows for a wide range of tonal options, while independent tone controls for the neck and middle pickups provide additional versatility. The Pure Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, equipped with bent steel saddles, offers smooth vibrato action and precise intonation.
